“If You Seriously Desire To Ratchet Your Writing Career Into High Gear… But You’re Tired Of Broken Promises and Hype…

… Then you’re ready for a safe, sensible, realistic plan for achieving every one of your freelance goals.”

  • Developed by a freelance writer to teach aspiring or frustrated freelancers the easiest, surest ways to build a successful writing business
  • How to use stealth marketing techniques (don’t worry they’re super-simple) to sell nearly everything you write
  • See how exciting it can be to engage your big writing dream… huge goals just may become a reality... no matter where you live. (I live in the middle of nowhere. Literally.)
  • Why you can really achieve this goal, especially with a little help from someone who’s been there

Dear High Profit Writer,

I remember it vividly.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University I was hot stuff.

Mucho hot.

Hot Tamale hot.

Yup. I was gonna change the world with all the brilliant musings I was about to bestow upon it. Editors and publishers would surely beat a path to my door.

After all. I was brilliant, articulate, and a bunch of other multi-syllabled words.

Imagine my surprise (and horror) when every single query I sent out boomeranged straight back to me accompanied with a fuzzy, Xeroxed-at-least-a-million-times form letter.

As the months dissolved into years, I barely scraped together enough writing fees to keep my son in Levis. Walmart quickly became the chief source of all things fashionable.

Then one day I stumbled upon a writing mentor.

Not having even the remotest idea what I was about to get in to, (I didn't figure I needed to learn how to draft an effective query let alone write) I bit the bullet, cut a fat check, and held my breath. I figured something else had to be standing in the way of my writing success. (If you'll remember, after all, I was brilliant.) :)

Turns out, I was a bit incorrect.

After chatting with this stranger who was going to “fix” my problem, he asked if I’d send him some writing samples.

I was in Nirvana. Digging through every astoundingly super, A+ term paper I could find, I slowly culled the best of the best, attached them (as a .pdf file, of course... I'd hate to have those little gems “stolen”) to an e-mail to this person who would now guide my writing career.

I whipped up a quick e-mail message and waited for my dear mentor to recognize what the rest of the entire publishing world most certainly missed.

And I waited.

And waited.

And waited some more.

Finally the fateful e-mail arrived.

“Beth,” it said, “I can tell that you're going to be an astounding writer.”

My chest puffed out. Then it instantly deflated.

The message continued, “Your writing pretty much sucks. But your e-mail... you've got some great writing in that e-mail.”

I was crushed. I didn't know how I would continue our relationship.

How could I... after spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a college education be unfit to enter the world of freelance writing?

Well... turns out my mentor was right. After six solid months of working together, my queries started hitting paydirt. Before long, I'd sold my first novel. Better yet, I was finally able to release the message I knew I was born to tell. As an added bonus, money began flowing towards me.

Like magic, I began truly enjoying the freelance lifestyle. Panic and frustration were replaced with joy and fulfillment.

Within a very short time, Filbert Publishing launched and... well... the rest is history.

Now, before I go any further, please take a moment to consider the following questions:

One: Do you enjoy being exposed to new and different ideas?

Two: Are you comfortable confronting issues you typically never think about?

Three: Will you consider a remarkably different understanding of what being a freelance writer is all about?

Four: Do you feel at ease reaching your readers on an emotional, not just an intellectual level?

Five: Are you prepared to take some very specific actions, engage some big-time changes, and give some new freelance strategies?

Six: How will you react when you discover a profound, important truth about a severe flaw that exists in the vast majority of freelance advice provided right now? Can you separate yourself from the hungry crowd, embrace success, and never look back?

What – Exactly – Am I Talking About?

I'm astounded when I ponder how ineffective my writing was when I first started my freelance career. I'm also incredibly grateful for every single freelancer who unveiled their closely guarded secrets these past seven (give or take) years.

Every mentor has taught me invaluable lessons I doubt I could have learned anywhere else.

And here's where you come in.

I want to become your mentor.

Now hold your horses, Little Joe. I need to clarify a bit.

First, I'm a bit busy. I didn't start out this freelance career gunning to become a mentor. I've got a full stable of clients and a packed writing schedule.

However, given the pathetic freelance situation I encounter as I correspond with nearly 10,000 Writing Etc. (my free zine) subscribers... you know what I'm talking about... dirt-low pay scales, slow-as-molasses-in-January payments, editors demanding freebie articles, writing scams, you name it... I just felt like something had to change.

And I decided to jump in and change my little corner of this incredible profession.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, I think it's a proper time to discuss...

What You'll Discover If You Decide To Join Me In My High Profit Writer's Club

Hi Beth-

I'm just writing to say THANK YOU!

I'm so thrilled I finally found someone who was able to take me by the hand and walk me
step by step through the query process.

With your advice, I put together a nonfiction proposal and sent it off to 10 agents in New
York.  Within just one week, I received a call from one agent and an email from another—they both want to see my sample chapters!

My freelance career is taking off at light speed thanks to you!

All the best,

Leah

Hi, Beth!

I also wanted to let you know that I have DEVOURED both of the books, the Jumpstart book and the new one over the last couple of nights. I am now going through them more thoroughly so I can take some notes and devise a business plan. I have not been this excited about my future in a long time. I finally feel it's possible to make a living as a writer.

Take care and thanks so much again.

Writer :)

I am so thrilled that I ordered your new book.  These daily lessons are wonderful!  Thank you Beth.

Another Writer

Excellent advice.  I already make a full-time living as a business writer,
but I am thoroughly enjoying your course.  Thanks!

It amazes me how when thou is passionate about thoust words, than thoust comes off sounding very cool. lol  You let me think about my writing again and reminded me that when I don't write my own stories down than I become unsettled within myself. Thanks for that.

Freelancer

Thank you, Beth.  I feel so much better prepared for tomorrow.  I'm already redoing my resume to be benefit driven and mulling over ideas for a new piece to write later this afternoon.  The timing of our call was perfect.

Blessings,
Writer

Beth,
Thank you for bringing terrific information on a regular basis. Thank you for giving me the courage to pursue my writing career.

Keep doing what you are doing. I can only imagine the number of writers that you inspire, encourage, and motivate.

Blessings always,
C. G.

I was so happy to read Are You Mastering Grammar Yet? Now I feel vindicated for not being grammatically perfect-something I've been telling my writing friends for years.

Dear writers,
I am always pleased with your ezine. Even so, this months edition was FABULOUS!  So rich, so inspiring, so, well, Filbert!

  • The most important mental and emotional positions that empower your subconscious mind to most readily attract lucrative writing assignments.
  • The single most important tool every successful freelancer needs in their writing tool-chest. (No. It's not a website.)
  • How to liberate yourself from THE emotion that stands solidly in the way of your writing success.
  • This technique won't make you the most popular student among retired English teachers. But BOY does it keep eyes riveted to your page.
  • Think you know how to write an effective byline? Think again. The vast majority of bylines (at least 98 percent) are utterly worthless. Plug in one stealth technique to ratchet up your income.
  • Think you have to pay a ton of cash for publicity for your latest project? Wrong. You'll soon discover the ins and outs of true money-sucking publicity. All without laying out one single cent.
  • The top-secret language truly savvy freelancers speak on a daily basis that allows them to break though the barriers blocking them from achieving their writing goals.
  • The “Big Lie” of positive thinking.
  • You MUST acquire this skill to succeed. If you don't master it, you may as well give up on earning any significant income. And no. I've never read this information in a book... not even my own. I'm not spilling this for anyone but those chosen for this exclusive group.
  • The number one reason an editor chooses your query over another.

Let me be clear. I'm NOT promising you won't be offended. You may be.

I'm NOT promising you won't disagree with some of the things I say. You probably will. I plan on stretching you far beyond your comfort zone, just like the wise mentors I’ve worked with.

I am NOT promising you the most enjoyable mentoring experience of your life. I'm not here to be your buddy (however it’s entirely possible that we will become fast friends). My job is to give you the tools to succeed.

My Job Is To Hold Your Feet To The Fire Until Your Writing Zeros In Like A Laser, Straight Into The Heart Of Your Reader

I want your queries to hit pay dirt the vast majority of the time. And when you've got a fat portfolio brimming with high-paying assignments, I'll dance the “happy dance” with you.

Until then, I expect progress. Pure unadulterated learning, plugging in this information, and zeroing in on every one of your career goals.

No excuses. Pure accountability. The joy of success.

If you're unable to abide by these simple guidelines, please don't apply to this program. I'm busy and don't have time for whiners, explainers, or wanna-bes.

The ONLY thing that really matters is your desire to hop on the bus and start writing pieces that bring in the sales, cash, and new clients in a fast and furious flood.

This isn’t brain surgery. But you cannot “figure it out” on your own. Books will sometimes give you an incomplete guideline, but without constant feedback on your particular situation, especially in the beginning of your career, you're sunk.

I’ve already spent a dozen critical years of writing up a storm, hanging out with great freelancing mentors, making incredibly obvious mistakes, and following through to jaw-dropping successes.

There is absolutely no sane reason why you should want to waste years of your own life attempting to cover this same ground.

Let me be your guide. I know the fastest direct path to get where you want to go.

And I plan on sharing everything. Absolutely everything (no holds barred) I’ve learned from the legends I’ve worked closely with, and everything from my own intense personal success in the marketplace.

This is the closely guarded information I would have killed to own when I was first started out.

That's because I'll be standing over your shoulder, guiding you through the details of doing it yourself.

It’s your ticket to a front-row seat for the most exciting (and exclusive) freelance show on earth.

You finally get to be on the inside. You’ll know every secret I know, and (better yet) how to use them.

Success beyond your wildest dreams awaits. Are you interested?

Here's What I'm Talking About.

I know every freelancer isn't at the same place in their careers. That's why I'm offering two simple options for you here.

First is what I call the whole sh'bang... also called the “High Profit Writers' Club.

Here is a small taste of what you’ll receive in this 6 month exclusive club:

  • One live teleconference per month covering a burning freelance subject. Everything from queries to free publicity, website building to copywriting, the writers’ mindset to kick-butt articles. Every secret I've developed while trying to earn a living in this crazy profession... all while living in the middle of no-where. Succeed... or starve! It was that simple.
  • A full ½ hour one-on-one telephone consultation where we'll discuss whatever's on your mind at the moment. Discuss your current project. Dig through your marketing plan. Polish your latest query. Choice is yours. You'll have my undivided attention and we'll focus on your success.
  • Two flash-fire phone calls per week. Got a quick question? You'll have both my personal telephone number and mobile phone number. Shoot ideas. Present your latest dilemma. I'm at your beck and call.
  • One critique per month (up to 20 pages). Get feedback on your latest article, website, or marketing plan.
  • I will also give you free email access to me for fast questions. (I’ll give you a secret e-mail address no one else gets.) Many times I'll just tell you to call me so I can answer your question in person. (These calls won't count towards your flash fire calls.) And not even all my paying clients get this secret e-mail address. Being able to drop me an e-mail with a question means you’ll never be left hanging when you need to get something done. I’ll answer your question as fast as I can. You get the same attention my regular paying clients do.
  • No forever-to-download mp3s here. Within a week of each teleconference you'll receive your very own copy of the High Profit Writer Journal. You'll also receive an audio CD containing the latest teleconference call. As an added bonus, I'll include any html handouts on your CD as well. You'll walk away with everything we discussed (and then some).
  • I also have “insider” contacts up the whazoo (in my “Million Dollar Rolodex”)... and if I can’t help you, I’ll turn you on to someone else who can.

To be honest, I don’t care if you’ve never been published in your life. Or if you’re just starting out. Or perhaps you've got a long corporate writing gig under your belt. Or perhaps you're a competent freelancer who hasn't got a clue on how to effectively sell your writing, or where.

None of that matters.

Because when you have a personal mentor, you can cut years off your learning curve.

You can nab your slot in the High Profit Writer Club for only $500 a month. If you pay for six months in advance, I'll throw in one month for free. This means the total for 6 months of coaching, flash fire phone calls, teleseminars, critiques, the whole sh'bang will set you back $2,500.

Ezines don't have the space to run this information. Traditional writing magazines don't pay writers enough to share these insider tricks in one issue.

These are darned generous terms. You should know that my lowest fee for one web page for my clients starts at 5 grand and my fees are going up on January 1. I charge more (and my clients are very happy to pay it) if the project is more complex.

This is how I’ve earned my solid reputation with my clients, because I don’t get paid the big bucks unless my ads make money. I put my money where my mouth is. I’m not kidding around with my advice for writing and freelancing.

What I tell you works. There’s no guesswork. No silly theory.

It’s what I do. It’s what I’m offering to teach you. In a short-cut manner that’s fast, easy, simple... and fun. Imagine that -- having fun while you learn how to turn your words into money. And you get all this for a fraction of what it would cost you to hire me directly.

Even better... you can cancel at any time.

If you’re unhappy, for any reason, just call me and you won't get charged one more cent for the program you're enrolled in. If you've paid in advance, you'll receive a prompt refund for all the months you didn't “use.”

We'll part as friends. I will treat you the way I wish people treated me -- with gracious trust and the benefit of the doubt.

You do not need to give a reason for dropping out of the program. Your word is good enough.

To order, simply click here:

Yes, I’m ready to jumpstart my writing career!” and I know there's no time to lose because I want in on one of the 7 remaining seats in your program. Thanks for letting me know I can cancel at any time and I'll receive a prompt refund of any months I've pre-paid for. That really takes all the pressure off my decision.

2 Easy Ways To Order...

"High Profit Writer Club", where I get the personal mentoring... plus a teleconference each month... plus flash-fire phone calls and critiques... plus a free six-month subscription to High Profit Writer Newsletter/CD package mailed to me... plus personal e-mail access for critiques and questions... all for just $500 a month.

Sorry! The club is closed.

Option 2. To Order Via Fax:

If you have a credit card, you can simply order by fax. Just fill out the Priority Order Form, and fax directly to my personal office fax at 1-702-993-8899. Total privacy. Total security. Or, if you prefer to pay by check (payable to Filbert Publishing), Click this link, you'll need to print out the Priority Order Form and mail a filled-out copy of the Priority Order Form with your payment (you can pay by credit card this way, also) to:

Beth Ann Erickson

Filbert Publishing

140 3rd Street

Kandiyohi, MN 56251

You must hurry. My schedule is filling fast.

You risk nothing. I am well-known in the business, and I protect my reputation like a bulldog protects his home. If you are not completely happy, for any reason at all, then I insist you drop out to make room for another freelancer.

I know how difficult it is to find real, honest and expert advice like this. If you aren’t ready for what I offer, that’s fine. Some of these secrets and tactics are so far out of the “mainstream” that only experienced freelancers know how well they work.

I am not out to convert you to anything. I am out to share the proven secrets that no one else has the chops, expertise or cajones to reveal.

Don’t wait on this, however. You snooze, you lose. These extra-loaded offers are good ONLY until I get maxed-out on apprentices.

Order right now. while it’s still hot in your mind. And prepare to have your mind blown... and your entire world change forever. It really is that powerful.

Yours for more profits,

Beth Ann

P.S. When you sign up for this program, be sure to include your private e-mail addy. I'll be contacting you within 24 hours to give you some preliminary instructions on what to do next.

P.P.S.  Please remember... it’s just me and one lonely assistant (Maury) here on a regular basis.  As much as I appreciate the kudos, I didn't decide to launch this program to stroke my ego or get rich. I make plenty from my freelance writing services (and I’m booked months in advance).

No. I launched this very small mentoring program because I honestly want to make a difference in the freelance world. I thoroughly believe that every writer... every single one of us... has a special story to tell. If you don't release that story, it'll die within you.

I wish I could have learned to release my story without the help of others, but I couldn't. If you're like me, if you have an incredible (and irrational) urge that simply won't die... the compulsion to write despite all your triumphs, failures, and discouragements... contact me now. Together I'll give you the tools to effectively not only make a living writing (that's secondary sometimes) but to release that primal urge to tell your stories.

And through this program I can achieve this goal to get this message out to many more people than I could through Writing Etc. alone. It’s exciting.

So don’t delay on this. If you want it, go for it. This is important material. Sign up now before your slot is taken by someone else.
